Kinheng crystal material(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise engaged in scintillators’ R&D、growth 、manufacturing 、processing and trading. The company is headquartered in Beijing, which has its international sales branch in Shanghai and production base in Hebei Province respectively, and the self-purchased factory covers an area of 3500 square meters. The main products include NaI(Tl)、CsI(Tl)、CsI(Na)、LYSO(Ce)、GAGG(Ce)、CWO、BGO such kind of single crystals, substrates, and detectors, etc., which are well accepted at home and abroad and widely used in radiation detection ,environment monitoring, geological exploration, oil logging, nuclear medicine, security inspection and high energy physics, etc.

With years’ development, now the company is the largest-scale NaI (Tl) manufacturer in China, equipped with 100 sets NaI(Tl) growth furnaces and can sustainably offer big sizes such as 2L and 4L NaI(Tl). This year the Beijing headquarter has undertaken a R&D project of 550mm-Diameter NaI(Tl) detector ,which is funded jointly by State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, PRC and China National Nuclear Corporation(CNNC). What’s more, the maximum diameter of CsI(Tl) can reach 280mm by our Czochralski growth method. Currently, we are the only domestic company who grasp the Czochralski growth method of producing NaI(Tl) and CsI(Tl), which has many advantages such as higher light output, higher density, better energy resolution, better uniformity and lower decline amplitude of high temperature counting rate, comparing to the Bridgman growth method. Meanwhile, the Beijing headquarter is also the only designated NaI(Tl) supplier for China International Import Expo(CIIE) 2021 and the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

Now the company is able to offer high-performance scintillators with various dimensions as well as solutions, which can be from crystals to components, detectors, PCB boards. The company also has cooperated with North China Electric Power Institute to set up detector R&D laboratory, which can assemble detector modules according to customer requirements, including PMT+DMCA detectors and SiPM+DMCA detectors, etc.
